Through their flagship podcast, Simi has become a prominent media personality, known for hosting captivating interviews with trailblazers like Fortune 500 CEO Revathi Advaithi (Flex), global comedian Vir Das, and U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal. She herself is a prominent speaker, writer, and thought leader on media, business, culture, and building a company intersecting all three.
Through the Trailblazers Agency, Simi advises high-profile chief executives, founders, and leaders (of all backgrounds) on digital brand building, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and executive positioning. In recognition of her work, Simi has been named Forbes 30 Under 30, invited to the White House and New York Stock Exchange, and recognized in global outlets such as Forbes and Yahoo Finance.
Previously, Simi served as Chief of Staff to Indra Nooyi, the former CEO of PepsiCo. She also served as Head of Business Development at a venture-backed media startup and began her career in investing at Audax Private Equity. Simi holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was named 100 Best & Brightest MBAs in the United States. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
